Labor Day Weekend in Puerto Rico

Labor Day is here and that means it will be a Long Weekend here in Puerto Rico. The sun will be shining (hopefully), beaches and popular tourist attractions will be busy and there will be a host of events happening throughout the weekend.

Here are a few events happening around the island during the Labor Day Weekend in Puerto Rico

Sep 4 – 5, Festival De La Longaniza En Orocovis (Sausage Festival), Orocovis

The town of Orocovis sees the return of their annual Sausage Festival; The Festival De La Longaniza. The weekend log event will feature artisans, live music, food, family events and of course the towns famous sausages.  

Head to Coliseo Jesus “Tito” Colon on State Route 155 in Orocovis from 9am – 9pm. Call 787-867-3277 for more information

Sep 3 – 5, Lola Challenge Weekend, Old San Juan

Compete in 1 or all 3 runnibe events over the weekend. Friday is the Lola 5K Fun Run, Saturday is the Lola 10K race and Sunday you can try the Lola Half Marathon

Sep 4 -5, Mercado Artesanal, Guaynabo

Paseo Tablado on PR 199 in Guaynabo will be hosting an Artisan Market from 3 – 9pm. Local artisans will be showcasing there products

Labor Day Weekend in Puerto Rico

Sep 3, Noche de Artisanias, Anasco

The town of Anasco will be holding their weekly artisan night in the towns main plaza starting at 5pm

Sep 4 – 5, Cinema FOK (open Air Cinema), Caguas

FOK Brewing Co. in Caguas will be showing Space Jam The New Legacy on Friday night and Raya The Last Dragon on Saturday night. Movies start at 6:20pm

Sep 3 -5, Jalan Jalan Last Summer Blast, Salinas

The town of Salinas will be hosting their End of Summer Blast this weekend at the Marina de Salinas in Salinas

Sep 5, Mercado Orgánico En La Placita Roosevelt, San Juan

Organic market from 9am – 2pm at Placita Roosevelt, Calle Ing. José A. V. Canals, San Juan (787-200-8580)
