Bottles is located close to San Patricio Plaza in Guaynabo. From the outside the building suggests a gourmet food market, but once inside you are greeted with not only an impressive food market, but a deli serving all kinds of sandwiches, walls holding endless bottles of wine and a restaurant serving mouth watering meals. The restaurant also has its own resident ‘friendly’ bull dog.
I have not sampled the deli or food market offerings, but I can say that the restaurant is well worth a visit (reservations would be wise). The restaurant is located towards the back of the building next to an area where appetizers and wine can be enjoyed. The walls are lined with racks and racks wine and you order your bottle by retrieving it from the racks. The walls are also decorated with wine cork stoppers which is a unique touch (make sure you check out cork stoppers to find the ‘bulldog face’). The menu is displayed on a cork board that travels from table to table and includes appetizers such as; steamed dumplings, calamari, chorizo and mussels. Entrées include fresh fish (ahi tuna, mahi mahi, striped bass, cod cheeks) and various meats (churrasco, rack of lamb, filet mignon). I definitely recommend the steamed dumplings and churrasco.
Entrées start at about $20.

Simply put, Bottles is an overprice cafeteria, with the worst service there is in town.

Sorry you don’t agree with my thoughts on this place. I can’t agree with you based on my experiences of the place.
I have had many wonderful meals at ‘Bottles’ and recommended it to many executives from various companies. Everyone has raved about the food and wine. All have gone back for another visit.
Bottles is conclusively and I arguably *the* wine lovers go-to place for serious food and wine, not to be found anywhere else around San Juan or the north coast. I confidentally raved about it at WineZag this week and will continue to eat there on a regular basis. It would be foolish to miss it if you live near or visit the San Juan area and have any kind of advanced appreciation for wine and food. Just be careful of the portion sizes, way too big and over the top.

I find Bottles one of the Best in Puerto Rico, the service, great food, it is outstanding. There is no one to touch Richards collection of wines. his guy Luis, must not know good food, good service and class operations.
