This is a 1955 Ford Fairlane. It was the first car I ever owned. I bought it in 1963 for $200 and the muffler fell off at 149 Street and Third Avenue in the Bronx, New York.
I forgot to put antifreeze in the radiator and it froze.. Then , my friend suggested I use an ice pick to break the ice and I made a hole in the radiator. In the middle of December I had the motor running, the lights on, the heater and the radio on and it conked out. Everything shut off. I sold it for $250 a month later.
