Puerto Rico Museum of Art – 4 Free Admission Sundays

The Puerto Rico Museum of Art has once again teamed up with Doral Bank to host D’Museo; four days of cultural activities for the family and the best part; Admission is free. That’s a saving of $6 per adult and $3 per child over 5 (for under 5’s admission is free).

D’Museo will take place on the last Sunday of the month from July 26 – October 25, 2009. On each of these Free Admission Sundays the museum will host small plays, local artisans, bomba and plena shows, arts and craft workshops, story telling, guided walks through the museum, musical performance and various other activities.

D’Museo 2009 will see some 40 local artists and artisans displaying their work and holding workshops. Last years event saw more than 10,000 people visit the Puerto Rico Museum of Art during the free admission event.

If you have always wanted to visit the Puerto Rico Museum of Art but have yet to make it, then this is a great opportunity.

Please note that the free admission applies only to the last Sunday of the month between July and October, 2009.
