The 12th annual Puerto Rico Salsa Congress will take place at the El San Juan Hotel and Casino on July 19 – 26, 2008. Dancers and salsa lovers from around the world will be descending on San Juan for a week of intense competition.
Don’t worry if you are not up to competition standards, because during the week you will have the opportunity to listen to live salsa bands, as well as dance workshops.
Some of the performers for this year include; El Sabor De Puerto Rico – Pupy Santiago, Luisito Carrion – Sonora Sanuanera, Puerto Rican Power – Conjunto De Bobby Perez, Ismaelito Rivera & Rafaelito Cortijo -Charanga La Criolla, Sonora Poncena, Willie Rosario, Jose Alberto-El Canario and El Gran Combo De Puerto Rico. As well as these live perfomers there will be nightly music with international DJ’s in the hotel lobby.
