Seven Seas Beach – Fajardo

seven seas beach fajardo puerto ricoLocated on the north east coast of Puerto Rico near the town of Fajardo, Seven Seas Beach offers pristine sand and a crescent shaped beach lined with palm trees. Designated a Blue Flag Beach in 2007, the beach is popular with locals and tourists and is a great spot for families.

The beach is open daily between 9am – 5pm with lifeguards on duty. Mondays and Tuesdays during September – March the beach is closed (no lifeguards /facilities, but you can still use the beach)

Seven Seas Beach is a great spot for topping up your tan or for checking out some of the near by reefs that have an abundance of colorful life. The waters are shallow and relatively calm due to the off shore reef that protects the beach.

You can plan a picnic at one of the picnic shelters (prior booking is required) or just grab some local Puerto Rico food from the beach side restaurant.

If you plan on camping at Seven Seas Beach, you will need to make arrangements and obtain a permit before arriving. If camping is not your scene, you could check out the near by El Conquistador Resort.

  1. I visited Seven Seas beach in Fajardo, the beach itself was pleasant , I like the fact that there are alot of shaded areas to hide from the sizzling rays of the sun. My major dissappointment was the unsanitary conditions of the bathrooms, not toilest paper in ayn of the stalls, trash containers overflowed, the place was not well kept at all. I went to an office tha happen to be open and infomed them only about the missing toilet paper and their reply “due to cuts we are short staff and those that are working don’t want to work, this is an issue for maintenance we (the office ) are not maintenance”. What a pity.
I visit this lovely island every year and try to visit different sites on the island, my plans were to visit Culebra and Vieques never made it, I think July is not a good month too many tourist and locals on vacaton with the sme plans. I stayed at Isleta Marina and they have two adult pools one for children. One day the there was only one adult pool open the next day all pools werw closed, we went swimming by the bay.
In my opinion service is key, not the facility itself or amenities but Service. People will pay for Good service people who are atentive and get the JoB done. The months of June, July , and August are peak, everything should be Clean, Working snd Accessible. This will not be my last trip, it just wont be during these months.
