Our children grew up with the custom on Three Kings Day having a party and one person finding a bean in the cake. That person was to get three wishes---within reason--to be granted by someone (usually parent) who was at the party. We also had everyone sing, "We Three Kings of Orient Are.." while the chilren wearing paper crowns, paraded to the manager where they would kneel. They would each also receive at least one gift for themselves.
